Meet Dr. Arun Bala
Dr. Arun Bala is a native Texan who was born and raised in Houston. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and loves that he gets to practice here in Cedar Park, so close to his alma mater.
Upon graduation from the UT Austin McCombs School of Business, Dr. Bala’s passion for helping others led him to teach math at an underserved high school in Houston for two years as a Teach For America corps member.
Dr. Bala then underwent further credentialing to become board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, demonstrating a commitment to the highest level of care achieved by only about 50% of orthodontists. He brings that passion and commitment to his work here at SmileOn, and he’s so happy to be a part of the SmileOntourage!

Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, Dr. Bala enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and their two young children, traveling, watching the Longhorns, and exploring all of the wonderful things Austin and Cedar Park have to offer.
Dr. Bala aims to inspire confidence and improve the lives of his patients by helping them discover the full potential of their smiles.
